HACKETT, Douglas - of Hanover and
formerly of Lucknow passed away at
Hanover & District Hospital on Sunday
December 8, 2013 at age 78. He was born
in Ashfield Township on March 24, 1935 to
the late Catherine (Irwin) and Thomas
Hackett. Greatly missed by special friend
and companion Mary Ann Grubb of
Hanover. Also survived by brother Eric
Hackett of Lucknow, sister-in-law Ruth
Hackett of Toronto, Mary Ann's family and
several nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by sister Irlma (Midford) Wall, brother Keith
Hackett and sister-in-law Helen Hackett.
Visitation was held at MacKENZIE &
McCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow,
on Thursday December 12, 2013 from 2-4
& 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service was
conducted from the Lucknow United Church
on Friday December 13, 2013 at 11 AM.
Interment Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
Donations to the Wingham or Hanover &
District Hospitals were greatly appreciated
as expressions of sympathy. Condolences

University Hospital, London, on
Wednesday December 11, 2013. William
"Willy" Hendriks of Ashfield Township in his
51st year. Loving husband of 25 years to
Jennifer. Devoted father of Rebecca, Brett,
Robin and Luke. Loving son of Nolda and
the late Martin Hendriks. Brother of Henry
(Annette) Hendriks, Joe Hendriks, Joanne
(Ron) Menary, Betty (Pat) Carter, Rita
(Mark) Tully, Linda (Lou) Kosmerly, Tony
Hendriks, Casey (Cathy) Hendriks, Gerda
(Murray) de Vos and the late Peter. Son-in-
law of Mac and Roslyn Campbell. Brother-
in-law of Joanne (Mark) Johnston, Julie
(Darrin) McKenzie. Also survived by 20
nieces and nephews. The received friends
at the McCALLUM & PALLA FUNERAL
HOME, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich
on Sunday December 15, 2013 from 2-4 &
7-9PM. Funeral Service was held at St.
George's Anglican Church (North and
Nelson Streets) Goderich on Monday
December 16, 2013 11AM. Archdeacon
Allan Livingstone officiated. Cremation.ln

Children in Trust" gratefully acknowledged.

JOHNSTONE, Tom - Of Lucknow,
passed away at Wingham & District
Hospital on Thursday December 12, 2013
at age 53. Survived by wife Barb Johnston
(nee Potzel) and children Kristina (Rod) of
Wingham and Kyle of Pemberton, brothers
Ken Johnstone of London and Allan (Carol)
Johnstone of Wingham, sister Eleanor
McDonald of Whitby, and several nieces,
nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents Elizabeth "Beth"
(Brydges) and William Johnstone. A
Celebration of Life was held at the
MacKENZIE & McCREATH FUNERAL
HOME on Sunday December 15, 2013 at
2 PM with Rev. Peggy Kinsman officiating.
Donations to the Wingham Hospital
or Kidney Foundation were greatly
appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Friday December 13, 2013. Aaltje (Alie)
Reurink (nee Logtenberg) of Goderich and
formerly of Ashfield Twp., in her 87th year.
Beloved wife of the late Tyme "Tim" Reurink
(2003) and survived by special friend Bill
Van der Linde. Dear mother of Reina
Arnold (Ron deGans) and Karen (Don)
Ritchie. Loving grandmother of Carla
(Greg), Gavin, Dustin (Brittany), Andy
(Shannon), Angie (Troy), Amanda (Andrew)
and Ashley (Cam) and six great
grandchildren. Also survived brother Derk
(Lillian) Logtenberg and sisters Gerda
(Doug) Dam and Lummie McGibbins and
Reina Nybour. Predeceased by one
brother, 2 sisters and son-in-law Mel
Arnold. Friends were received at
McCALLUM & PALLA FUNERAL HOME
on Monday December 16, 2013 from 2-4 &
7-9 PM. Funeral Service was held at the
Funeral Home on Tuesday December 17,
2013 at 11 AM. Interment Dungannon
