Moving forward together, to benefit ACW
K2 Wind is moving toward the start of construction. We've taken steps to develop K2 Wind
in a way that will deliver new benefits to the community. Over the next 20 years, K2 Wind will
provide approximately $15 million to the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh (ACW),
through the Community Benefits Funds Agreement.
Once the Project is operating, annual payments of approximately $700,000 will be provided
to ACW to fund a wide range of community based initiatives such as:
• education and job training programs
• community and protective services
• public recreation facilities
• land steward initiatives
• energy sustainability projects
