O
TO THE WONDERFUL COMMUNITY OF
LUCKNOW
As I try to think of words to express my
feelings at this time, I realize there are no
words. The expressions of sympathy shown
to our family over the loss of our beloved
son, have been staggering. The hugs, the
flowers, the cards and the food given and
sent to us are in abundance. The donations
given in Newton's memory will go towards
many youth in hopes of them achieving
their dreams. There truly are not enough
words to say Thank -you. We were blessed
with 14 short years as Newton's parents,
but I want all to know, as a community you
all helped us raise him. As friends, parents
of his peers, teachers throughout the years,
or employers and customers at the gas
station and restaurant, you all helped guide
him. As for our Bowling Family, you have
been there to laugh with us, cry with us,
and just listen to us as we raised our family,
your support and wisdom has always been
appreciated. Thank you Everyone! To those
who have done so much the last few
weeks. Our families for dropping everything
to be with us, Peggy Kinsmen, your support
and words, the Lucknow Presbyterian
Church for holding the service, MacKenzie
& McCreath Funeral Home, MaryEllen your
work is above and beyond. Our C.A.S.
workers for your support. All of our
employers and co-workers for the time off.
To the businesses and foster parent teams
for food at the visitation and funeral. Also to
those special people who have also lost a
beloved child, your strength and support will
never be forgotten. Also to anyone 1 am
forgetting to mention, this is all so
overwhelming, 1 say Thank You. We can
not say more for Lucknow, it truly takes a
community to raise a child, and this is one
of the best. The one memory of Newton as
told to me many times, is his infectious
smile and warm greeting to so many.
Please let us keep his spirit alive and smile
to one another.
