LCPS Fundraiser Begins New Teachers at Lucknow
Central Public School
QSP

Valerie GiHies
Editor, Lucknow Sentinel
Mckenna Hartnett led the
assembly at Lucknow Central
Public School on Thursday,
September 18, 2014 introduc-
ing the QSP Fundraising cam-
paign for the 2014-15 school
year.
This year's fundraiser is
called "Magazines and Mem-
ories". As well as offering dis-
counted prices on magazine
subscriptions, there is a new
line of products specifically
aimed at capturing memories
from smart phones. QSP
offers vouchers for customiz-
able photo products which
can be redeemed online when
the purchaser is ready to cre-
ate their memory item such as
cards, calendars and more.
The items will be shipped by
mail when completed.
This campaign raises funds
to be used by the school how-
ever they wish. Last year the
funds went towards I -pads,
which the students will soon
begin training on.
Students are advised not to
go door-to-door for this fund-
raiser and rely on the help of
their families to make connec-
tions. Orders can be placed
online on the QSP website
and those who follow this
route will receive their mer-
chandise more quickly than
those who submit their order
through the school.
The students will be receiv-
ing their packages to begin
their fundraising campaign for
LCPS.
