This is an art installation project started in 2005. Each pinwheel is a work of art containing personal messages and thoughts on peace and will appear on September 19. The first pinwheel was presented to Mayor Twolan at the meeting. The chainsaws were stolen some- time overnight on September 7, 2014. The chainsaws are both orange and white Stihl brand, two stroke gas pow- ered engines. One is a model MS441 valued at $1200 and the other is a model 0-34 valued at $1,000. Any person with information regard- ing this incident should immedi- ately contact Huron OPP at 1-888- 310-1122 or (519) 524-8314. TWO INJURED IN HIGHWAY CRASH On September 10, 2014 at 11:01 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 21 and Bruce County Road 6 in Huron Town- ship. Officers arrived to find a Black Toyota Matrix was stopped in the south bound lane waiting to turn when it was struck by a south bound Silver Chevrolet Cavalier. The driver of the Cavalier, a 24 year old male of Huron -Kinloss Township, was charged with careless driving.
