Roseanne Currie had noticed
that there were a lot of Ice Bucket
Challenges in Walkerton to raise
funds to fight ALS, also known as
Lou Gehrigs disease. She decided
that this would be the perfect
opportunity to nominate her col-
leagues at Lucknow Pharmasave
for the challenge. Currie has
pledged $200 to ALS from Lucknow
Pharmasave.
Stephanie O'Krafka, Morgan
Phillips and Dionne Smith
accepted the challenge, at the
same time issuing the challenge
to Lucknow's Home Hardware
staff.
At the time of the Lucknow dous-
ing on Thursday, August 28, 2014,
the website www.als.ca showed
that they have met and exceeded
their goal in this challenge. The
goal was $10 million dollars. The
total now sits at $10,552,660 and
climbing.
