The family of the Late Gerry Meurs would
like to thank everyone for their support at
the time of his recent passing. Thank you to
all those who sent food, cards and floral
tributes; Lynn and the Lucknow United
Church for allowing us the use of the
church; Brittany Jurjens for the beautiful
music before and during the service; the
UCW for the wonderful lunch and everyone
who made donations in Gerry's name to Ri-
pley Minor Hockey and Lucknow CCRC.
Thanks to Peter and Elaine Steer for every-
thing you did and offering up your home to
all of us. Thank you to Ken De Boer for your
wonderful message and being there when
the family needed you. Thanks to all of the
pallbearers- you all had a special place in
Gerry's life. A very special thank you to
Mary Ellen and Joan at McKenzie &
McCreath Funeral Home for their compas-
sion and constant professionalism at what
was a difficult time. It was wonderful to see
so many people paying tribute to Gerry with
their presence as he made his journey
Home. We also want to send out our sin-
cere gratitude to the staff at Maitland Manor
in Goderich for your special care of Gerry

Words cannot express our appreciation to
family, friends and neighbours during
Frank's illness and passing. Thank you to
his brothers for the trips to London, your
many visits at hospital and at home and to
everyone who called, sent cards, flowers,
food and visited. Thanks also to Dr. Stan
Spacek, the Day Care Center, CCAC and
Red Cross Care Partners for your excellent
support and care at home. A special
thanks to Chris Garnier and staff at McCal-
lum Pella Funeral Home for your support
and guidance and to Pastor Brian Hymers
for conducting the service. Our sincere
gratitude to everyone who took part in the
service, the flower bearers, pallbearers, Le-
gion Auxiliary for providing the luncheon

MCDONAGH
Melvina Alexandra Shirley- Passed away at
the Sault Ste. Marie Area Hospital on
Thursday, October, 2, 2014 at the age of
79. Loving wife of Ron Crow and the late
Murray McDonagh (for 50 years). Cher-
ished mother of late Tony McDonagh
(Elaine), Debbie Hocken (Tom), and Shar-
on Ayotte (Wes), step mother of Gina Gibbs
(Brian) and Allison Pierce (David). Proud
and loving Nana of 13 wonderful grandchil-
dren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear
sister of Les Burden (Edna), Karen Eckhart
(Wayne) and Myrna Eddy. Sister in law to
Barry (Betty) McDonagh and Rod (Joanne)
McDonagh of Lucknow, Ross McDonagh of
Kemptville. Aunt of many special nieces
and nephews.
FARRISH, Joyce Ellen (nee Wall) - Of
Waterloo, Ontario, died at her residence on
October 10, 2014, in her 65th year. She
was born in Wingham Hospital on March 6,
1950, daughter of the late Harry and Eva
Wall (nee Taylor) of Lucknow. Dear mother
of Brad Farrish, of Waterloo. Lovingly
remembered by 2 grandchildren Dalton and
Brittney Farrish, Waterloo. Loving sister of
Laura Bonnett, Kincardine, Elizabeth Wall
(Bob Saunders) Toronto; Marilyn (Bob)
Howey, Belmont; and George Wall,
Listowel. Also survived by former daughter-
in-law Lesa Farrish and sister-in-law Lynn
Wall, Seaforth, and several nieces and
nephews in the Bonnett, Brown, Taylor,
Lynn Wall (Arthur's) families and numerous
great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by her husband Harold Farrish, brothers
Robert Taylor and Arthur Wall, sister Mary
Jane (Jean) Brown, parents Thomas Henry
"Harry" Wall, and Eva May (nee Taylor) and
a much -loved nephew Neil Wall. Joyce had
a heart of gold and will be missed by those
whose lives she touched. A Celebration of
Joyce's life was held at MACKENZIE &
MCCREATH FUNERAL HOME,
LUCKNOW on Sunday, October 19, 2014
at 1:30 PM with Rev. Brooke Ashfield
officiating. Interment Durham Road Baptist
Cemetery, Greenock Township. Donations
to the Heart & Stroke Foundation were

SCOTT, Robert Francis
"Frank" - Peacefully at the family
farm surrounded by his family on
Friday September 19, 2014. Frank
Scott in his 74th year. Beloved hus-
band of Phyllis (Clayton) Scott for 48
years. Loving father of Michael (Au-
drey), Mark (Sonja), Lisa
MacLennan and Eugene Scott. Lov-
ing grandpa of Riley, Rory, Ciera
MacLennan, Sebastian, Markayios
and Serenity Scott. Also survived by
his sister Isabel McQuillin and broth-
ers Marvin (Hannie), Donald
(Ginger), James (Joanie), Douglas
(Nolda), brother-in-law Lynn (Char-
lene) Clayton and many nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Amanda Scott,
son-in-law Rod MacLennan, sister-in-law Shirley Scott, brother-in-
law Harvey McQuillin, nephews Garry and Rick McQuillin. Friends
were received at the McCALLUM & PALLA FUNERAL HOME, 11
Cambria Road North, Goderich on Monday September 22, 2014
from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service was held at the Funeral Home
on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at 11 AM. Brian Hymers DLM offi-
ciated. Flower bearers were Riley MacLennan, Rory MacLennan,
Ciera MacLennan, Sebastian Scott and Serenity Scott. Pallbearers
were Martin Scott, Brent Scott, Steven Scott, Daniel Scott, Jeremy
McQuillin and Ian Williams. Interment Christ Church Cemetery, Port
Albert. Donations to the Easter Seals through the North Huron Trail
Groomers Snow -A -Rama gratefully acknowledged. Friends may
