He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Hamilton) for 36 years. Pete was born in Holland to the late Annie (Geraerts) and Frank VanDiepenbeek on July 5, 1952. Dear father of John of Ashfield Township. Survived by his siblings: Ben & Mary Anne, Lissette & Carl Stanley, Harry & Nikki, Anne & Steve Andrew all of Ashfield, Henriette & Donald Mann of Goderich, and Frank & Lynn of London. Also survived by his mother-in-law Gladys Hamilton (Allan) of Lucknow, in-laws: Patti Lee of London, Ken Hamilton of Blenheim, Steve Hamilton & Wendy of Edmonton, and Joan & Steve Chamney of Lucknow. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father-in-law Al Hamilton and brother-in-law Tom Lee. Visitation held at MACKENZIE & MCCREATH FUNERAL HOME, LUCKNOW on Sunday November 23, 2014 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM.
