"Stripes for Christmas" by
Beth McMaster, directed by
Mackenzie Carruthers, music
directed by Marilyn Scott and
produced by Maureen Match-
ett and Monica Freiderich.
The story is of Christmas
Eve mayhem at Santa's
Workshop. Rudolph is sick
and Santa is looking for a
replacement, which sets off a
chain of events involving
elves, reindeer and, of
course, Mrs. Sugarplum and
her magical candy cane
striping machine.
Enjoy the antics with the
cast of 11 young actors
including: as Belinda, Alexis
Logtenberg, age 11, daughter
of Agnes and Ken Logten-
beg; as Mrs. Sugarplum,
Nikki Marion -McMahon,
age 12, daughter of Deb Mar-
ion; as Zebedee, Liam
Psutka, age 11, son of Chad
Psutka; as Julie, Shelby
Barger, age 9, daughter of
Doug and Heather Barger; as
Brownie, Tamara Lawlor, age
11, daughter of Maria Poels;
3 children of Steve Howard
and Suzanne Alton are
Claire Howard, age 10, play-
ing Huberry, Sam Howard,
age 8, playing Head Elf and
Graham Howard, age 8,
playing Elf; the two remain-
ing Elves are played by
Mikaela Hanna, age 8,
daughter of Dave and Jodi
Hanna and Jaden Symes, age
8, daughter of Rob and Jen
Symes.
Performances will be Fri-
day, December 5 and Satur-
day, December 6 at 7:30 p.m.
with a matinee performance
Sunday, December 7 at 2:30
p.m. at the Lucknow Town
Hall Theatre. An elevator is
available for those with
mobility concerns.
