Many diners enjoyed the Soup & Sand-
wiches fundraising lunch held by the Luc -
know Horticultural Society in the lower
level of the Lucknow Town Hall on
Wednesday, May 14, 2014. These busy
cooks also served up take out.

Betty Emberlin and Shirley Kennedy are
both regulars at these functions and both
stated that it was an awesome lunch.
These ladies commend the Horticultural
Society for always doing a good job on
these types of events.
Marlene Struthers remarked that it was
a "delicious, lovely lunch. I look forward
to this."
Suzanne Andrew, past president of the
Horticultural Society explained that this
particular fundraiser is for the flower bas-
kets and beds throughout Lucknow. She
would like to thank those who donate the
lunch and appreciates the contributions
of time and talents from the members.
Everyone is welcome to their next event
which is a Potluck on June 10, 2014 at the
Waterworks Park followed by a tour of
local gardens. The Potluck will be held at
the Town Hall if the weather does not
cooperate. For more information call any
member or you can call Suzanne Andrew
at 519-529-7335.
