Lucknow crowns winners of
45th Ron Alton Tyke Tournament
The Lucknow Sports Complex was
the centre of some great hockey action
supplied by eight tyke teams from the
area on Saturday, March 1.
The 45th Ron Alton Tyke Tourna-
ment hosted teams from Lucknow,
Wingham, Goderich, Blyth -Brussels,
Hanover, Ripley and two teams from
Kincardine.
In the "A" Championship final, it was
Hanover defeating Blyth -Brussels 5-2.
In the "B" Championship final,
Goderich defeated Kincardine 1 by a
score of 4-3.
The players and coaches enjoyed
pancakes and sausages prepared by
the Lucknow tyke parents after the
teams first game.
