Lucknow News Ruth Dobrensky Wiarton Willie predicted six more weeks of winter back on Feb- ruary 2nd, I think he was off as his six weeks are up and guess what, I think he should have said eight or ten weeks more of winter, as everthing is still covered with snow and I still can't see my car for the snow piled in front of my front window. St. Patrick's Day was celebrated early last week at Tuesday's Table which was held at St. Peter's Angli- can Church. The parish hall was decorated and a few members of the cooking crew were adorned in green. The Lucknow Horticultural Society held a St. Patrick's Day card party last Friday at the Town Hall. Last Saturday, Leo Murray hosted a St. Patrick's Day party where many enjoyed the Irish ambiance, music and fun. Great party Leo. This past Sunday evening, Luc - know United Church hosted a beef supper and variety concert. As usual a good crowd turned out for the great food and entertainment. It's good to see that the Music in the Fields committee is hard at work planning this summers event and that they are lining up some great acts for the weekend.
