Wiarton Willie predicted six
more weeks of winter back on Feb-
ruary 2nd, I think he was off as his
six weeks are up and guess what, I
think he should have said eight or
ten weeks more of winter, as
everthing is still covered with
snow and I still can't see my car
for the snow piled in front of my
front window.
St. Patrick's Day was celebrated
early last week at Tuesday's Table
which was held at St. Peter's Angli-
can Church. The parish hall was
decorated and a few members of
the cooking crew were adorned in
green.
The Lucknow Horticultural
Society held a St. Patrick's Day
card party last Friday at the Town
Hall.
Last Saturday, Leo Murray
hosted a St. Patrick's Day party
where many enjoyed the Irish
ambiance, music and fun. Great
party Leo.
This past Sunday evening, Luc -
know United Church hosted a beef
supper and variety concert. As
usual a good crowd turned out for
the great food and entertainment.
It's good to see that the Music in
the Fields committee is hard at
work planning this summers event
and that they are lining up some
great acts for the weekend.
