BUTTON, Robert William - Passed
away peacefully at his residence in
Medicine Hat, Alberta on Tuesday March
4th at the age of 63. He is survived by his
partner Betty Ann Weber, loving daughters
Kerry & Collen & their mother Dianne, his
mother Lorna Button, brother of Marion,
Murray & Cathy, uncle of Dave, Angela,
Stephanie & Julie, great-uncle of Josh,
Isabelle, Lily & Katelyn. Predeceased by his
father Bill.
ELLIOTT, Marjorie - of Kincardine and
formerly of Huron Township, passed away
at Kincardine Hospital on Saturday March
1, 2014 at age 81. She was born in
Kincardine on October 20, 1932 to the late
Mayme (Johnston) and Earl Hodgins.
Beloved wife of the late Burton Elliott. Dear
mother of Ellen (Allan) Holroyd of
Manitoulin Island, Perry (Donna) Elliott of
Ripley, June Adams (friend Bill) of
Edmonton, Robert (Karen) Elliott of Ripley
and Jeff (Sheryl) Elliott of Huron Township.
Also greatly missed by grandchildren; Brent
(Karlee), Jim (Mendi), Janelle (Craig), Joe
(Amanda), Brianne (Warren), Michelle
(Rick), Michael, Luanne, Paul, Tarrant
(Ashley), Tyler (Jocelyn), Vanessa (Mark),
Nicole (Kent), Thomas, Jarrett (Erica) and
Jorie, 17 great grandchildren, sister Inez
(Lorne) Forrester of Lucknow, sisters-in-law
Marion Hodgins of Bervie, Donna Elliott of
Kincardine, Betty (Ken) McFarlane of
Kincardine and brother in law Bill (Betty)
Elliott of Kincardine. Predeceased by
granddaughter Bobbie Jo Holroyd, brother
Vernon Hodgins, sister-in-law Edith
(Donald) Simpson and brothers-in-law Jim
and Joe Elliott. Visitation was held at the
MacKENZIE & McCREATH FUNERAL
HOME, Ripley on Tuesday, March 4, 2014
from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service was
conducted from the chapel on Wednesday,
March 5, 2014 at 11 am with Betty Elliott
officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons
Brent & Jim Holroyd, Joe, Michael, Tyler,
Thomas and Jarrett Elliott. Honourary
pallbearers were grandsons Paul and
Tarrant Adams. Granddaughters Janelle,
Brianne, Michelle, Nicole, Jorie, and
Vanessa Elliott and Luanne Holroyd were
flower bearers. Spring interment Ripley
Cemetery. Donations to the Children's
Health Foundation or Alzheimer's Society
were greatly appreciated as expressions of

FARRISH, Jack - Of RR 7, Lucknow
passed away at Wingham Hospital on
March 2, 2014 at the age of 86. Dear
husband of Mary Ellen Gower-Farrish
(nee O'Neill). Loved father of Jim & Nancy
of RR7, Lucknow, Wayne & Lisa of
Sarnia and son-in-law Wes & Nancy
Dignan of Goderich. Step -father of James
(Helen) Gower, Cynthia (William) King,
Larry Gower, and Anna (Vaughn) Forsyth.
Missed by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-
grandchildren, 7 step -grandchildren, and 1
step -great-grandchild. Survived by his
siblings Winnie (Gord) Walters of Goderich,
and Donnie Farrish, and sister-in-law Joyce
Farrish. Predeceased by his first wife Mary
(Courtney) in 2005, daughter Marie Dignan,
granddaughter Ashley Farrish, brothers
Harold and George and his step -daughter-
in-law Caroline Gower. Visitation was held
on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 2 - 4 & 7
— 9 PM at MacKENZIE & McCREATH
FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow, where the
funeral service was conducted on Friday,
March 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Peggy
Kinsman officiated. Spring Interment at
Greenhill Cemetery. Donations in lieu of
flowers were appreciated to Wingham
Hospital, Lucknow Minor Sports, or the
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 309.
