Spring is on its way
Driving around, it is nice to see
the snow is shrinking but a per-
son needs to take extra caution at
the corners, as visibility is limited
due to the clearance of view to
incoming traffic. So be careful
out there and take an extra few
minutes before proceeding.
Also, there are a lot more
racoons, turkeys and even a black
squirrel on the go. This gives
hope that spring is coming.
John and Joyce Farrell had an
afternoon visit from their grand-
son Andrew Becker and Joyce
enjoyed having lunch with Betty
Pennington in Wingham on
Saturday.

Sympathy is extended to the families
of Roy Ferguson of Kincardine, who
died suddenly last week.
Mary Anne Kukoly visited with Ruth
and Janice McCosh of Goderich and
entertained her cousin George Knight
of Picton.
The Ripley Agricultural Society sent
delegates to the Ontario Agricultural
Societies Convention held in Toronto
last week.
We would like to extend our get well
wishes to the folks we know who are
recovering in the hospital and at their
homes. Hope to see you out and about
soon.

ple Grove WI meeting will be March
5th, at the home of Marilyn Reid. Pot
luck lunch at noon and meeting with
auction following. Hope to see a lot of
treasures to bid on, never know what
we will find to tempt us. Any ladies
that are in interested in seeing what
our institute is about are welcome to
attend.
