zone mixed bantam play

TheWingham Golf And
Curling Club hosted the zone
mixed bantam play downs
last weekend. The Ethan Doig
team from Seaforth went
undefeated to win the zone
championship.
Saturday February 15 the
club hosted the annual sweet-
heart bonspiel. The team of
Nanci and Don Ross along
with Cindy and Bill DeVos
came out on top to capture
the CKNX trophy.
In regular curling action on
Monday February 18 the
men's night skips curling their
teams to victory were Bill Mac-
Donald and John Mann. The
Tuesday ladies winning teams
were Leanne Marks, Jenn
Elston and Kelsie Eadie.
The Wednesday night mixed
winners were: Joan Bridge,
Carol Horton, Carolyn Fear
and Mike Hoskins. Thursday
February 2, Bill Tolton, Barry
Simpson, Norm Fairies, Roy
Aicheson and Hugh Clugston
skipped their teams to victo-
ries in the daytime curling
league. The Thursday night
Belgrave teams coming out on
top were Bob Sinclair, Elliott
Miller, and Marshall Haines.
Friday mixed teams taking
home wins were Bill MacDon-
ald and Barry Simpson.
