European Appliances approached the ESTC for more information on Auto- mated External Defibrillators. It wasn't long before the employer of 12 full time staff had the AED in place and today their employees will receive train- ing on the life saving device. "Often defibrillators are in place and available, how- ever people aren't comfort- able using them:' Said Stephanie Cur- rie, ESTC Program Coordina- tor. "European Appliances should be commended for being so proactive concern- ing the safety of their employ- ees and their community." In this session 10 employ- ees will be trained on how to effectively use an AED, in Emergency Services Training Centre "Training for Tomorrow's Emergencies" hopes that they'll never have to.
