He reports that he has a stack of albums about two feet high, as indicated by holding out his hand above the floor, that he has garnered over the years. "Thoughtful Readings and Humorous Comments" is the third in a series Alton has compiled from this vast collec- tion to share with others in order for them to not be lost over time. First in this series was "Special Readings From The Heart" which focused on approxi- mately 120 readings and poems that show love, compassion and thoughtfullness. Next came "My Favourite Humorous Readings & Memo- ries of the Past': This larger vol- ume contains over 200 selec- tions to bring a smile to your lips and many will even make you chuckle. Some are from the "Good old Days" which Alton defines as the 40's, 50's and 60's. The current offering, "Thoughtful Readings and Humorous Comments" contains approximately 120 readings, some over 80 years old. All of the selections in this volume have a message and many are true sto- ries. Alton has included many humorous comments and read- ings relating to seniors. These books are available at MayFair Training, 638 Campbell Street, Lucknow or from Frank Alton who can be reached at 519-528-2771.
