supports the club with this
event every year and were on
hand to supervise the club
members who carried food to
the diners, cleaned tables and
bussed the dishes back to the
kitchen.
The 4-H Beef Clubs hold
many fundraisers during the
year to pay for their activities.
Funds go towards achieve-
ment days, awards, shows,
meetings and learning tours.

This particular breakfast is to
help with the Dungannon Fall
Fair 4-H Beef Show.
The leaders agree that these
fundraising events also con-
tribute to the valuable experi-
ence the members gain from
community participation.
Judging by the number of
happy diners and the tips
being dropped into the jar, the
community appreciated the
Lucknow 4-H Beef Club's com-
munity participation, as well.

man and their friends! Brett
and friends are hosting a Ball
Hockey Tournament at the
Lakeshore Recreation Center
on Highway 21 in Port Elgin
on Friday June 13, and Satur-
day 14 and wrap up Sunday
June 15th.
Brett has joined with the
Heart and Stroke Foundation
to actively campaign for CPR
awareness. As you may
remember Brett suffered a
cardiac emergencyJuly 2, 2012
while playing hockey and get-
ting in "game shape" for his
upcoming professional
hockey season. Brett was
revived using CPR and a defi-
brillator (AED).
Friday games start at
6:00pm and again Sat 9:00 am
all day ti114:00 pm and times to
be posted for Sunday.
