Breathe through

for 60 seconds.
That's what
breathing is like
with cystic fibrosis.
No wonder so many
people with CF
stop breathing
in their early 30s.
Please help us.

Sorry to hear that Dony Harkness had
an accident in Fort Nelson, B.C. Hope
he continues to recover quickly.
This old fashioned winter sure has
posed many challenges for every-
one. Snow days were much appreciated
by some and a headache for others. It
gives a chance for youngsters to spend
time with family and this was the case
for Alex and Airk MacDonald, who
enjoyed their free time with their grand-
mother Shirley MacDonald. It was an
enjoyable time for all.
We must acknowledge and thank
the folks who continue to clear the
roads and deliver our mail this winter.
Speaking of this winter, it seems the
United States are getting more than

their share of snow. Heard someone
comment, "Blame it on the Ground-
hog!" Maybe so, at least we have
another six weeks and anything can
happen, so be prepared.
Last weekend John and Joyce Farrell
hosted a birthday party for their grand-
son Elijah Nahwegahbow who turned
five years old. Also attending were his
parents Jeramiah, Jenn and his sister
Eva of Kitchner, Ian, Sheri and Richard
Elliott from Shanty Bay, Peter and Tania
Lise, David and Teresa Farrell an their
sons Drew, Tyler, Alex and Evan of
Wingham, Dave and Tobi Dropet and
sons Mica and Jacob and Mary Anne
Kukoly of Ripley. A wonderful time
including sleigh rides made a perfect
ending for a perfect winters day.
Also visiting with John and Joyce
were Brent and Carol Bouyer.
Sympathy is extended to the families
of Russell Brooks, Ruth Mueller and Isa-
bel Wilkens.
Let's make the best of winter and be
safe out there while it is here. Check
and keep in touch with your loved ones,
friends and neighbours and smile as it
costs nothing and will cheer someone
along the way!
