Wingham & District Hospital Community Forum
The Wingham & District Hospital would like to invite you to our upcoming Community Forum.
The Forum is meant to provide an opportunity for members of our Community to engage with
the hospital leadership and members of its Board of Directors.
Taking place Tuesday January 13, 2015 in the gymnasium at the former Wingham Public
School, this event will feature various topic stations where you can drop in to hear short,
dynamic presentations on topics of interest including:
• Patient Programs
• Health Care Finances
• Health Care Campus Development (Former Wingham Public School)
• Wingham and District Hospital Redevelopment
Visitors are encouraged to participate by asking questions after the conclusion of each short
presentation. There will be an open session at the close of the forum where community
members can bring forward any further questions or comments to be addressed.

Ken Bellan and Steve Piper brought a little Christmas cheer to the Wingham & District
Hospital Foundation on the morning of December 22nd when they presented the
Foundation with a donation of $5,000 on behalf of The Power Workers' Union Bruce
Site Equity Committee.

The Power Workers' Union (PWU)
Bruce Site Equity Committee has been
in place since early 2006 and its pur-
pose is to make cash disbursements of
Bruce Site equity funds to community
organizations and local causes. The
PWU Bruce Site Equity Committee
makes these disbursements on behalf
of all 2,600 PVVU members who work
for Bruce Power and they take great
pleasure in being able to contribute
$5,000 to the Wingham & District
Hospital.
The funds received from the PWU
will be put towards the purchase of a
cardiac ultrasound machine for the
digital imaging department - an essen-
tial upgrade identified as top priority
by the Hospital. The Board of the VVDH
Foundation wishes to express its sin-
cere thanks to all the PWU members
who made this donation possible. The
PWU Bruce Site Equity Committee is
also supporting hospitals in Walker-
ton, Kincardine, Hanover and Saugeen
Shores.
