noon euchre, at the Seniors
Centre, Norm Jewel and
Irene Markum took top
points with 50 each. There
were 10 present. There were
19 folks enjoying coffee
hour earlier in the
day. Please note—Thurs-
day. December 18 will be
the last coffee hour and
card party until Janu-
ary. Watch this column for
start date.
It appears that all the soy
beans are off and most of
the corn. Some of that may
have to wait until spring.

Miller travelled to Inwood,
down south to a turkey
shoot on Saturday, Decem-
ber 13. There was both still
and trap shooting. John
Miller won an 18 lb. turkey
on the trap shoot.
The "Flippin' Eggs" res-
taurant, on Hwy. 21, a
favourite stop for many of
the area folks, will be
closed from December 22
until January 21, 2015.
