help!
The highlight of the evening was
the keynote address by Dr. Robin
Milhausen, a world renowned sex
researcher. She led an interactive
discussion on keeping the spark
alive, benefits of an active sex life
and bringing more passion to the
bedroom. Many of the women in
the audience had fun with the topic
and got involved by asking
questions.
Deborah MacDonald of Teeswa-
ter, the event organizer, and her
volunteers collaborated with busi-
nesses from Belmore, Blyth, Brus-
sels, Mildmay, Lucknow, Ripley,
Mississauga, Niagara -on -the -Lake,
Tiverton, Teeswater and Wingham
who supported the event as spon-
sors, community partners, special
contributors or vendors. Newspa-
pers and radio stations also helped
by promoting the event. It was
these businesses and the ladies
who attended that made the even-
ing such a success.
All the proceeds will go towards
the purchase of a new cardiac
ultrasound machine. The machine
is an urgent need at the Hospital
and the $8,816 raised at Girls Night
Out will go a long way to getting
this essential equipment to
Wingham.
Deborah and her team cannot be
thanked enough for all the effort
they put into their event. Dedicated
volunteers are the heart of our
Foundation and community initia-
tives such as Girls Night Out make
a big difference to the Hospital.
