There was a great community feel in sharing a special meal together. Special thanks to P & H in Amberly and Peter Schlegel for donating all of the turkey. We also received generous contributions from Sobeys, Farmers Diner, Ripley Variety, Boston Pizza, McAdams, Gaylea and Bruce County Milk. Thank you to Janice Lamont, Carrie Charette, Heather Newman, Sarah LCPS Grade 2 Grinch stories The Grade 2 students at Lucknow Central Public School were asked to com- plete this statement. "To make the Grinch smile I would..." Here are their responses. Shelby F: Do the monkey dance and the elephant dance. Travis V: Give him a smile Andrew M: Steal all the presents in the world and give them to him. Maya G: Give him a nice home with red and green candy canes. I would give him four gifts for Christmas and give him clothes too. Annan M: Do the wedgy dance and tell him funny jokes. I would tickle him forever and make him cake. Kaleb D: Do silly faces and give him all the pre- sents in the world. Massey S: Give him gold and treasure and I would do the wedgy dance because he likes those things. Elle S: Do the wedgy dance like never before. I would also tell him really funny knock knock jokes. "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Knock knocks there!" Abigail E: Get all the pre- sents in the world and give them to the Grinch. Tell him jokes so funny he would laugh his head off. Tickle him until 11:00 and that would be funny. Do all the things you heard on this page and he'll laugh alright. Jarret F: Do anything silly like bake when I am dancing. Faith: Tell him a funny joke. Guin : Tell him Mrs. Nel- son's knock knock joke. "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Dwayne." "Dwayne who?" "Dwain the tub, I'm dwoning!" "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Doctor." "Doctor who?" "You just said my name." Kolby D: Tell him funny jokes and steal all the pre- sents in the world and give them to him. Ben R: Say aga ooga raga manky mank. Tell him long jokes and stories.
