The Lucknow Sentinel, 2014-12-17, Page 66 Lucknow Sentinel • Wednesday, December 17, 2014 GRP Ltd Melissa Macintyre with her Champion Limousin Heirfer RLF 833A represented Huron County at the Royal Winter Fair Beef Competitions. They placed in the top nine heifres for Grand Champion Overall. Royal Agricuture Winter Fair 2014 Submitted 10 local youth repre- sented Huron County 4H recently at the Royal Win- ter Fair in the Beef Compe- titions. Paige Cossitt, Ash- ley Higgins, Brad and Melissa MacIntyre, Tyler Murray, Connor, Colton and Micheala Rodger all participated in the National Junior Beef Heifer Show. Over 360 youth partici- pated in this competition. Congratulations to Melissa MacIntyre who exhibited the Champion Limousin Heifer RLF 833A and was in the Champion Drive at the end of the day with the top nine heifers for Grand Champion Overall. Tyler MacPherson and Owen Weber competed in the Queen's Guineas with 44 other competitors. Tyler MacPherson was chosen to compete in the Showman- ship Finals for the Queens Guineas. Submitted Residents of Pincrest Manor and their families filled the room on December 6, 2014 to enjoy the Resident and Family Christmas party. Pinecrest News Donna Crich Program Manager The resident's at Pinecrest are having a busy month. On December 6, 2014 we held the Resident and Fam- ily Christmas party with a full house. It was nice to see so many family members attending. We have had lots of different groups in to entertain and also the school children caroling. We will be going on a Christmas Light Tour on December 18th and hope everyone will have their lights on for the resident's to view. Thanks to everyone that has brought us special treats this year. The resident's and staff would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and all the best in the New Year.
