MPP Thompson Supports Agriculture in the Classroom MPP Thompson has intro- duced a Private Members Motion requesting that an agri-food component, focused on career opportu- nities, be added to Ontario's grades 9 and 10 Guidance and Career Education Curriculum. Currently Ontario's agri-food industry is facing labour shortages that can only be expected to increase as workers retire and the types of skills required in the industry evolve.
