HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Lucknow Sentinel, 2014-12-03, Page 1414 Lucknow Sentinel • Wednesday, December 3, 2014 Obituaries Obituaries CAMERON, Euphemia (Rintoul) - Euphemia Cameron (Rintoul), beloved wife of the late Ralph Cameron, of Lucknow, passed away at Nine Mile Villa on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in her 100th year. She was born in West Wawanosh Township on May 22, 1915 to the late Jean (Gillies) and Alex Rintoul. Survived by three daughters, Marilyn (Wayne) Wettlaufer of Kitchener, Sandra (Hugh) Graham of Fonthill and Lynda (Glen) Weatherdon of Kitchener and two sons, Douglas (Anette) Cameron of Kelowna, BC, and Jack (Nancy) Cameron of Lucknow. Also greatly missed by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. A funeral service was held from MACKENZIE & MCCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow on Saturday November 29, 2014 at 2 PM with visitation three hours prior to service. Pastor Brian Hymers officiated. Interment Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. Donations to the Lucknow Presbyterian Church or Wingham Hospital Foundation were greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy. John was born in Coventry, England on August 27, 1930 to the late Eunice (Parbury) and James A. Green. Dear father of Patricia & Don Hindle of Parry Sound. Missed by his grandchildren Paula, Kathy, Gail and Jeff, and his great- grandchildren Jasper and Liam. Survived by his siblings Ruth Spalton, and Michael Green both of England, and by his adopted family Connie & Ray Harris of RR5, Lucknow, and their children Dwayne, Mitchell and Joanne. Predeceased by his sister Eunice Gannon. A Private Family Memorial Service was conducted at MACKENZIE & MCCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow. R. #3 Walkerton, formerly of Wiarton, passed away with her loved ones close, on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Wingham & District Hospital, at the age of 53. Beloved wife of Ron McKague. Kate is survived by her sons Dustin GoIley and wife Sara of Listowel and Robert Mooney and friend Laura Rossi of R. R. #3 Walkerton. Loving grandmother of Abbygale and Kaydence GoIley. Daughter of Carroll McKim Castle and her husband Roy of Port Colborne. Dear sister of Lori McKim -Lang and husband Gerard of Waterloo, Scott McKim and friend Annie Johnstone of London and Darren McKim of Vancouver. Remembered by her step- children, Hilary McKague and friend Jamie Ritchie of Teeswater and Michael McKague of R. R. #3 Walkerton, mother-in-law Shirley McKague of Lucknow, brothers-in- law Murray McKague (Cheryl) of Port Elgin, Wayne McKague (Wendy) of Teeswater and Terry McKague (Karen) of Clarksburg and 14 nieces and nephews, especially Ian, Anna and Mackenzie. Predeceased by her father Dr. Jack McKim (1984) and father-in- law Ken McKague (2012). Kate was the Diagnostic Imaging Manager at Walkerton, Kincardine, Chesley and Durham Hospitals, as well as co-owner/manager, with her husband Ron of RKM Grain. Kate loved music all her life, and played the piano for services at Wiarton and Teeswater churches whenever she was able. She was a member of the Paisley Concert Choir. Ron and Kate were looking forward to retiring at their new beach house at Point Clark. Visitation was held at the TIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Teeswater on Monday, November 24th from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Kate's life took place at Teeswater United Church on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastors Doug Brown and Ralph Schmidt and Elder Larry Porter officiating. Remembrances were given by Rev. Dr. Dan Hansen, Tracey Brzoska, Lori McKim - Lang and Larry Porter. The Paisley Concert Choir under the direction of Linda Finlay accompanied by pianist Jane Siegel provided beautiful music. Niece Emily McKague carried a floral tribute. Kate's step -son Michael McKague and nephews Ian McKim -Lang, Bryan McKague, Brad McKague, John McKague and Jason McKague were pallbearers. Final resting place Culross-Teeswater Cemetery. Memorial donations to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre Foundations, the Wingham & District Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the charity of your choice appreciated as expressions of sympathy. He was born in Kitchener on July 18, 1952 to the late Theresa (Cormier) and Alex Schoen. Father of Craig Schoen of Niagara Falls and Sabrina Schoen of Cambridge. Step -Father of Amanda Cast, Bridget Kessler and Lindsey Williams all of Nebraska. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and several wonderful family members and close friends. A Funeral Service was held from the MACKENZIE & MCCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow on Monday November 24, 2014 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Tim Bjorkman officiated. Interment Greenhill Cemetery. Donations to the Wingham Hospital Foundation were greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
