Jackie Henderson was out-
standing in net stopping shots
left right and center. Nadine
VandenHeuvel dominated the
score board with a hat trick
with assists from Maggie
Young(2) , Bailey McDon-
agh(2) and Robin McDonagh.
Hannah Liddle sealed the vic-
tory with an empty net goal
giving the Legends a 4-1 win.

Fourteen Scone crokinole
players and five associates
travelled to Owen Sound on
Saturday, November 22, 2014
to participate in the 4th
Annual Scenic City Crokinole
Tournament organized by
Owen Sound and Scone
Crokinole Clubs. A total of 64
players took part making it
the largest tournament in all
of Ontario except for the
"Worlds" which is always
held the first Saturday in June
at Tavistock.

Finishing 3rd was the young-
est player of the day ten year

The 14 scone players com-
peting included Neil & Carol
Cook, Jack & Ross McLeod,
Clare Kuepfer, Murray Mizen,
Bruce Leach, Al Carter, Janet
Diebel, Doreen Sullcye, Lloyd
& Marilyn Thompson and
Peter & Jo -Ann Carter. The 5
associate players were Robert
Bonnett, Francis Zettler,
Sarah Mason, Len Zettler and
Bruce Bailey. Players taking
part travelled from New York
State as well as all across
Ontario including Toronto,
Penetang, Kingston, Hamil-
ton, Big Bay, Belleville,
Dorchester, Waterloo Region
and Grey County. Midwest-
ern Ontario entries included
Wingham, Teeswater, For-
mosa, Mildmay, Walkerton,
Cargill, Paisley, Chesley, and
Dobbinton. This
tournament shows prom-
ise of even being bigger in
2015.
