Obituaries I In Memoriam I Thanks I Births I Celebrations I More Obituaries Obituaries : MacLENNAN, George H. - (Retired John's Manville, former resident of Agincourt) Peacefully at South Bruce Grey Heath Centre Kincardine, on Saturday August 9th, 2014, with family at his side at the age of 81. Devoted husband of the late Jeanne Marie MacKay (August, 2004). Caring dad of Cathy and Ron Plese, Virginia and Al Hutton, Laurie and Eric Benn and Colin and Marlene MacLennan. Proud Grandpa to Lauranne, Alexander and Megan Hutton; Amanda and Allison Benn; Emily and John MacLennan. Also survived by his sisters Louise Miller, Margaret Morton and Marion (Eugene) McGee and brother Finlay and sisters in law Bernice MacLennan, Joan MacKay and Annette MacLennan. Predeceased by his brothers Rod, Eldon, Donald, Jack and Sandy and sister Florence. He will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation was held at MacKENZIE & McCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Ripley on Tuesday August 12, 2014 from 7-9 PM. The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at St. Andrews United Church, Ripley at 1:30 PM. The family appreciated donations to the Ripley Legion Branch # 440 or the Canadian Wildlife Federation as expressions of sympathy. Beloved son of the late Emily (Thomson) and Richard McQuillin. Dear Father of Teri (Timothy) Church of Mississauga, Doug (Anne) McQuillin of St. Catharines and Dan (Lindsay) McQuillin of Kincardine. Also greatly missed by grandchildren Chris, J.J., Matt, Aeron, Andrew and Alex, and siblings Gordon (Donna) McQuillin of Sarnia, Harold McQuillin of Stratton, Mary (Robert) MacNay of Goderich, Donalda (Doug) McLeod of Goderich and Barbara Nickel of Kincardine. Also survived by sister-in-law Isabel McQuillin of St. Catharines and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Allan, Ronald & Harvey and sister Lynda. A Funeral Service was held from the MacKENZIE & McCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow on Friday August 15, 2014 at 12 noon with Pastor Perry Chuipka officiating. Interment Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. William E. - of Ripley died at his home on August 9, 2014, surrounded by his family at the age of 73. Bill was the beloved husband of Annetta (Forster) for 50 Years. He was born on August 25, 1940 in Holyrood to the late Emily Dexter and Howard Robinson. Dear father of Darryl of Kincardine and Lisa & Bob Blackwell of Ripley. Proud grandpa of Aspen of Alberta, Ashley (Cody Banton) of Milton, and James of Ripley. Survived by his sister Lt. Col. (Ret.) Shirley Robinson of Ottawa. Missed by his Robinson and Forster families. Bill served his community as a Lions member and as the deputy chief of the Ripley Huron Fire Department. A long time member of St. Andrew's United, Bill served as an Elder. Many young people in Ripley were encouraged by him as he coached minor hockey. His infectious smile will be remembered fondly. Visitation was held Friday August 15, 2014 at St. Andrew's United Church from 12:00 until the start of his Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Vicki Johnson officiated. Interment Ripley Cemetery.
