Meet the NWMO and Learn More About
Preliminary Assessment Studies
The Municipality of South Bruce has invited the Nuclear Waste Management
Organization to host an Open House. Drop by, meet NWMO staff, ask questions,
and learn more about Canada's plan for the long-term management of used nuclear
fuel and the process to identify a safe site to host a deep geological repository.
The NWMO will also introduce a new transportation exhibit which provides a
hands-on opportunity to learn more about plans for the safe and secure
transportation of Canada's used nuclear fuel.
Come out and share your thoughts on the project and the current phase of work,
including desktop geoscience studies and community well-being learning now
underway.
Light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to meeting you.
