Neal Kelly said in an e-mail. "In the case
of the CEO, the salary is well below the

Thursday agreed to a 40% hike in

2013.
Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa
MacLeod said her party supports a legis-
lated broader public sector freeze.
The Public Sector Salary Disclosure
Act covers employees of the government
and publicly funded organizations, but
does not include private consultants or
workers in privately owned hydro facili-
ties, such as Bruce Power.
Salaries of those who work for munici-
palities, school boards, the judiciary,
provincial and municipal police, provin-
cial crown agencies, and the Ontario leg-
islature are subject to disclosure.
NDP MPP Peter Tabuns said he's most
concerned with the salaries of the public
sector CEOs.
"Something like $4 million is being
paid ... to the heads of four different
hydro -related agencies," Tabuns said.
"That says to us that we have too many
CEOs and that we need a (salary) cap:"

MPP Thompson
Invites ministers
to tour K2 Wind
Lisa Thompson, MPP
Huron -Bruce, invited the
Minister of the Environ-
ment and the Minister of
Energy to make a trip to
her riding of Huron -Bruce
to visit the 1(2 Wind Project,
in a letter sent March 27,
2014.
The K2 Wind Project,
just north of Goderich, is
slated to be the largest in
the province with 140
industrial wind turbines.
Construction on the
project began earlier this
month.
"The Minister of the
Environment and the Min-
ister of Energy need to
come and see for them-
selves how their green
energy scheme has failed''
she said.
It has been brought to
Thompson's attention that
questions about the
suitability of a designated
property for a substation
were raised with officials,
yet the project forged
ahead - despite significant
drainage concerns.
"This is an excellent
illustration of why local
autonomy should be
restored to municipal offi-
cials and I have invited
both Minister Bradley and
Minister Chiarelli to join
me in a visit to the site,
which has now been
dubbed lake K2' by peo-
ple in the affected area,"
Thompson said.
"The project has barely
started, and it's already hit-
ting huge -road blocks. This
IS no longer a disaster wait-
ing to happen; it is a disas-
ter that is happening. And
the two Ministers should
come see it, because it is
happening on their watch':
