After an illness of nearly a year, Mrs. Woods, wife of Mr. Robert Woods, of Listowel, passed away on Sept. 19th, in her 75th year. The deceased, whose maiden name was Annie Maria Camp- bell, was born in Montreal, but she spent nearly all her life in this country, she having came to Mornington when quite young, and was married fifty years ago to Mr. Woods. Recently this law was amended in Shenandoah so as to give all owners of real estate, including women, to vote on the proposition to levy a tax cn railroads.
