Spotton have been sponding the past week visiting with Mrs. Spotton's parents at Listowel. Mrs. Phillips and two daughters, of Smith Falls are visiting with her ecu - sin, Mre. W. J. Henderson, at the Junc- tion. Miss Belle Wilson, of Turnberry left on Tneeday for Vancouver, B, C. to spend two months visiting with her brothers, Miss Kathleen Lowe, of London, and Miss Grace Montgomery, of Toronto, are visiting at the home of Mr. W. F. Van Stone. •. Mrs, F. H. Postmaster Fisher and his assistants always keep every- thing in the very best of shape and give an excellent service to the people of Wingham and district. -The company which is to represent the 33rd Regiment at Quebec will be in command of Capt. W. W. McVioar, Brussels, with Lieut. H. C. Dunlop, Goderich, and Lieut. W. J. Heaman, Exeter. Campbell, who has been working in Kincardine for the past few weeks, returned home Tuesday evening, h aving met with an accident while working on the new post elfin. Rev, D. Perrie, pastor of St, Andrews' Presbyterian church, accompanied by Mrs. Perrie and family, left en Tuesday for Pine River, and will spend the next. six weeks rusticating at "Pine River" cottage. We trust the outing will be a pleasant and beneficial one. The "British Weekly" of London England, announces the engagement of Mrs. Leonidas Hubbard, and Mr. Harold Thornton Ellie, only surviving son of the Right Hon.
