William Albert Broome of Waterloo, born in Seaforth on February 5, 1935, was 80 years old. Loving father of Bill and Ellen Broome of Kitchener and Jim and Diane Broome of Stratford. Cherished Grandpa of Danny, Tracy, Kelsey, the late Trevor, Nicole (Chantelle), Janson and Rachele. Dear brother of Doris Glenn of Goderich, Lois Loney of Kentucky, Molly Wagner of Stratford, Tom Broome of Goderich, Brian Broome (Yvonne) of Kitchener, and brother- in-law of Pat Broome of Seaforth. William will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Violet (nee Dick) Broome, brothers Ron Broome (Bessie), George Broome, Lee Broome, Robert Broome, siblings -in-law Wilfred Glenn, Cecil Loney, Lee Broome, and life-long friend Gene. Cremation has taken place and memorial visitation will be held at MCGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2 p.m. until the time William's funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment will take place at Maitlandbank Cemetery followed by a reception.
