Sometime between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. on August 22, unknown suspects set fire to a Johnson's Sanitation portable toilet that was situated next to the municipal building on King Street in Hensall. The fire destroyed the porta-potty as well as caused damage to the adjacent building. The total damage estimate is $10,000. Also, the Huron County OPP are requesting for your help in solving the following break, enter and theft occurrence. Sometime between 7:00 p.m. on August 8 and 7:00 a.m. on August 9 unknown suspects broke into Charlie's Place Restaurant on Clyde Street, Bluevale. Access was gained via a screen door. Once inside, they stole a quantity of cash from the cash register as well as some change from the tip jar. If you have any information regarding these crimes or any other crime, call Crime Stoppers at 1 -800- 222 -TIPS or submit a webtip at www.hc-cs.ca. You will not have to reveal your identity or go to court and you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
