POLICE BRIEF
(GODERICH, ON) — An 18 -year-
old Goderich resident is fac-
ing six criminal charges fol-
lowing his arrest on Monday,
October 5, Huron County OPP
including members from the
Huron OPP Crime Unit & OPP
Forensic Identification Ser-
vices (FIS) investigated a series
of deliberately set small fires
that took place this past week-
end in the Town of Goderich.
At approximately 1:30 a.m.
on October 2nd, 2015 Huron
OPP & Goderich Fire Depart-
ment responded to a fire that
caused minor damage to some
trees and shrubs at the end of
Cove Road. On October 3rd at
approximately 3:06 a.m. police
were called to Cove Road to
investigate a complaint and
upon arrival they located a
small grass fire. Officers were
able to put out the fire. Early
the next morning, on Octo-
ber 4th police and Goderich
