Part of the mandate of the Seaforth Community Development Trust is to promote the health, safety and
welfare of the rate payers of the former Town of Seaforth.
In this connection and in partnership with the Seaforth Fire Department, the Trust is offering a FREE
CARBON MONOXIDE/SMOKE DETECTOR to families who reside within the Corporate limits of the
former Town of Seaforth and who do not currently have such a unit at their residence. These detectors
have a life of 7-10 years. Check yours and if you also need to update, please come in as well. We have
ordered 5o units and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
All that is required is that you bring proof that you live in Seaforth; present
that proof to a fire fighter at their Open House 6:3o-8:oopm on October 8`h
and pick up your detector.
