Thank you to the emergency personnel for enabling miracles. The skills and efforts of the first responders and the medical staff at Seaforth Community Hospital, ambulance and ORNGE personnel and the staff at Children's Hospital at London Health Science Centre were lifesaving. Thanks to the staff in the PCCU and on the 6th floor who cared for Sarah, Sean and Giuliana, to everyone at Ronald McDonald House in London, and the staff at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto who have helped Sarah so much. To all of our friends and neighbours: Thank you for your visits, prayers, well wishes, messages, baking and gifts following the kids' accident. We truly appreciate everyone's thoughtfulness and generosity. Thank you to Gord & Julie, Bruce and the McKees for looking after the house and the pets while we were in London. Thanks aren't enough to the wheat harvest crew: Gord, Bruce, Tom and the Glanville, Fischer and Blake families (and all others who may have helped). Our church communities and service clubs have also been of great support. Thank you to Knox Presbyterian Cranbrook, Camp Kintail and Duff's United for their support and visits. Special mention to the members from Duff's who weeded the flower beds and also to the group who cooked a Walton roast beef dinner for all of the families staying at Ronald McDonald House. Grandma Phyllis would have been so proud! Thank you to the Walton and Brussels communities for your generous donations to Ronald McDonald House in London. To Ava, Meg, Nate: thanks for donating the proceeds of your bake sale to RMH! Ronald McDonald House is a truly special place that has benefited not only us, but many families in our area and we are so pleased that our community has helped them further their mission. We are grateful for everyone's kindness, generosity and prayers. oyly Obituaries Obituaries STOREY, Orville George - Beloved husband of the late Lila Audrey Norris, passed away peacefully at his home in Clinton on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, in his 97th year. Orville enjoyed farming in McKillop Township until retiring to Clinton at the young age of 90. Cherished father of Shirley and John Stoll of Clinton, Gail and Alex Glanville of Melfort, Saskatchewan, Patricia and Lloyd Francis and Donna McLlwain, all of Goderich, Jack and Nancy Storey of Clinton, Sherry and Murray McCall of Walton and Gerald Storey of Clinton. Loving grandfather of David and Carmen Jones, Sheila Jones, Jeff and Cara Stoll, Marcy Lauchlan and Shane Arnason, Bill and Dawne Glanville, Chelene and Marc Reindeau, Steve and Melanie Glanville, Rob Cooke, Katherine Van Massenhoven and Brian Crane, Suzy and Steve Panes, Kevin and Cathy McLlwain, Carrie and Brad Moore, Sandra and Jonathan Kochis, Chris Storey and Kristy Blackwell, Shawna McCall and Chris Murphy, Marcy and John McCall MacBain and Carali and Daniel Hughes. Visitation was held at McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, November 20th from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Orville's life was held at Northside United Church in Seaforth on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. A reception immediately followed in the Northside United Church Hall and interment took place at Maitlandbank Cemetery in McKillop Township. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Cavan United Church, Northside United Church, Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation are appreciated and can be made through the funeral home or by visiting Orville's online memorial at www.mcglynnfamilyfuneralhome.com
