At Cavan Church on Sun- day, the Christ candle was lit by Maja Dodds. Grace Dol - mage and Brenda Bernard were the greeters and collec- tors. The children's story was about a plant and planting a garden. The choir sang "God Says." The 5th Sunday after Easter is called "Rogation Sunday." The 6th Sunday after Easter growth is cele- brated - new growth comes from a seed. We need to sow good seeds that others see - seeds of mercy, for- giveness, kindness, encour- agement. Water is precious. We are the caretakers of the earth. We need to plant seeds of love. The annual outdoor ser- vice will be held at the Win- throp Ball Park at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 21 with brunch to follow. All are welcome.
