ay flowers ready to bloo
Ruth Campbell
Winthrop correspondent
We are now into the month
of May - the grass is growing
and the early spring flowers
will soon be out in bloom.
At Cavan United Church
the Christ candle was lit by
Susan MacDonald.
The children's story was
about a frog who kept trying
until he finally accomplished it.
Minister Mary's message was
"Building a Future" The Lean-
ing Tower of Pisa was an exam-
ple. We need to build our future
on a sturdy foundation. We
need to be together in faith and
changes. Jesus is the corner-
stone. Francis and Carol Hunt
were greeters and collectors.
Beatrice Campbell is now
a resident in Seaforth Manor
m
Retirement Home, second
floor.
The farmers are busy with
the spring planting. The lawn
grass has sure grown in the
last few days and lawn mow -
ers will soon be heard.
Food for Thought
The wise think big
but start small.
