St. Columban Soccer Association scores U15 Girls May 4 in St. Columban U 15 Girls first game of the season on our home field was against Wingham. Emma Flanagan opened the scoring with a goal on an assist from Jaymee Nolan in the first half. In the last few minutes of the game, Nolan netted the home team's second goal to finish the game with a 2-0 win for St. Columban. U13 Girls May 7 in Clinton Win 2-1 for Season opener: It was a great night for soccer. The girls played strong throughout the whole game to beat Clinton 2-1. We were down 1-0 after the first half but made a comeback the second half to score 2 goals. Team- work! Goaltending made some great saves with Marissa VanderPloeg and Emma Marcy sharing the spotlight. Goals were scored byAllysa Greidanus and Alyssa Lauze. U-18 Boys May 7 in St. Columban Won their first game 8-3. The U11 Girls team defeated a very strong Lucknow team tonight by a score of 2-1. St. Columban goals were scored by Sarah and Kennedy. Goal- tending duties were shared by Chel- sea, Hannah Nolan and Katie. Han- nah stood tall and made the save on a Lucknow penalty kick.
