The Martin family have been farming since 1820. Steve deliv- ered a very interesting family history and apple overview. Today Steve, along with his father and his brothers look after over 700 acres at Martin's Family Fruit Farm. You can visit their Orchard Store in Waterloo year round for a great selection of apples, fruits, seasonal vegetables and many more tasty products. Members were able to sample Ambrosia apples as well as Martin's Crispy Apple Chips. Our 43rd Annual Plant and Bake Sale will be held at Northside United Church basement on Saturday, May 9th from 8:30am - 10:30am. Mem- bers contribute healthy perennials, bulbs and seedlings and a great selection of baked goodies. Proceeds from this sale help to finance our projects in the community. We hope to see you there!!
