When will winter end?
It was another frigid week for Seaforth and area, as the snow blanketing the region (pictured) shows
no immediate signs of receding. It was a particularly nasty February for Huron and Perth counties with
several extreme cold warnings and temperatures barely reaching above freezing.

Atoms Bring Home Gold from Mild-
may Junior Broomball Tournament
Atoms, with a new name, bring Blast-
ers home gold in the Mildmay Junior
Broomball Tournament.
On January 18th, after defeating
Mildmay and Blyth, our Atoms brought
home gold and a banner, which we
hope to proudly display!
All teams played with great enthusi-
asm but in the end it was the Blasters
that came away undefeated in the
Tournament.
Seaforth has a Strong Showing at
the 2015 FBAO Junior Provincial
Championships
Provincial Championships were held
in Barrie during the weekend of Febru-
ary 13 -15th 2015. Seaforth Junior
Broomball had three teams participate
and brought home two bronze medals.
It was a great weekend. Peewee
Cyclones and the Girls Midget Hitmen,
after very tough competition, brought
home the medals. The Boys Bantam
Shooters had a very tough draw and
were defeated.
A Chance to Try Broomball -
March 11
On March 11 at 6:30PM to 8:OOPM
Seaforth Junior Broomball is hosting a
promo night for youth (and their par-
ents) who would like to try broomball.
Come to the Seaforth Arena with your
helmet and running shoes and we will
supply the fun.
Hot chocolate and snacks will follow.
An adult must be present to sign -in
youth under 18 years of age. Contact

Lobb hosting passport
clinic in Kincardine
Ben Lobb, MP for Huron -Bruce will
host a passport clinic on Wed., March 4
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Kincardine
Legion, 219 Lambton St.
Staff will be available to assist local
residents in either renewing or becom-
ing a first time passport holder. Lobb's
office will courier the passport applica-
tions directly to Passport Canada.
Passport Canada application forms
can be picked up at Ben's constituency
office, your local Post office, or down-
loaded from Passport Canada's website:
www.ppt.gc.ca.

Lobb offers passport services
through both his constituency offices. If
you are unable to attend the passport
clinic, you are invited to visit one of
Lobb's offices for passport assistance.
For a first time adult application, you
must bring:
1. A photocopy of both sides of your
driver's license or government issued
photo ID with signature (Your guaran-
tor must sign and date the photocopy)
2. Your original birth certificate (or
Canadian citizenship card)
3. Two Passport Photos
4. If you are applying for your pass-
port in an assumed relationship sur-
name that is different from the name on
your birth or citizenship certificate, you
must submit your marriage certificate,
along with your birth or citizenship
certificate
Your guarantor MUST:
- Hold a valid passport and have
known you for 2 years
- Sign your Passport Application, the
back of one of your photos and sign and
date the copies of your government
issued ID.
For a simplified renewal, all you need is:
- New photos
- Current passport
For child passports, please contact
Lobb's office in advance as regulations
have recently changed.
