to conduct
verification test
Huron County's Community Noti-
fication System, Huron Ready, will be
conducting a verification test call -out
the week of March 2, 2015. The auto-
mated verification process runs
Monday to Thursday between 1:00 to
4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. No
calls will be made during the
weekends.
This test allows residents and busi-
nesses to confirm they have provided
accurate contact information to be
reached during an emergency situa-
tion. The message will state: "This is
Huron Ready your Huron County
emergency notification system call-
ing with an important message." The
caller display will show up as
"EMERGENCY CALL" just as it
would in the event of an actual notifi-
cation campaign. This year's cam-
paign includes a message from the
Huron County Fire Prevention
Association.
Follow the verification process as
prompted by the system to confirm
or change your contact
information.
If you have not already submitted
your Community Notification form
to register you may call toll free at
1-888-524-8394 ext. 3711 or com-
plete the form on our website www.

meals and snacks at work," says
Public Health Dietitian Scholastica
Madu. "The Eating 9 to 5! campaign
gives you healthy eating tips, recipes

common challenges. To beat the
mid-day slump, for example, you
can:
• Get physical by standing up to
take phone calls or do some
stretches
• Grab a small, healthy snack to
fuel your brain and give you energy.
• Drink some water, since staying
hydrated helps get rid of that sleepy
feeling.
