Production / Yard Supervisor

Hensall District Co-operative is a progressive co-operative in its 77' year of business and
continues to grow. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who has the
desire and ability to lead and develop our Production & Intake team, at our Mitchell facility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise staff, ensuring the health and safety of everyone on site.
• Train and evaluate new employees.
• Based on daily production schedules, ensure processing and shipping schedules are
maintained and met.
• Provide direction to Yard, Processing and Bagging operation to achieve shipping,
receiving and production schedules. Plan and ensure that necessary manpower is
available to achieve projected volumes. Create/maintain storage & segregation
plan.
• Ensure all HACCP and safety regulations are met and followed.
• Provide direction to the Shunt Drivers in order to facilitate the movement of product
between warehouses, maintain the packaging supply inventory and any other
miscellaneous trucking activities.
• Facility upkeep and maintenance
• All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Superior interpersonal and job coaching skills
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• University degree/diploma in Business or Agriculture or equivalent experience
• Supervisor health & safety training
• Valid Ontario Driver's License Class AZ is desirable
• 5 years' experience in elevator and processing
• 2 years' experience in a supervisory role

Computer Network Technicians
The Board's Information Technology department is looking for a permanent and a temporary Computer Network Technician.
Note — Microsoft Certification required.
These positions require knowledge of data communication networks, LAN, WAN, wireless network topologies and protocols,
network operating systems and management software, telecommunications, routers, switches, IP management.These positions
require providing school technical support; therefore, a vehicle and a valid driver's licence in good standing are required and you
must be willing to travel.
Some of the Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Designing requirements for LANs and WAN, including hardware and software requirements in a Microsoft environment.
Administering, optimizing and troubleshooting the local area networks (LANs), wide area network (WAN), including servers, computer
workstations and peripheral equipment, 'Pads, Chromebooks, printers, photocopiers, MacBooksand mobile labs.
Managing data backups and performing disaster recovery operations as required.
Implementing and administering network traffic and security monitoring software.
Providing problem -solving support regarding network issues to network users, IT team and site contacts.
Other related duties as assigned.
Work with the team to transition from Novell to an Active Directory environment.

Job Specifications and Requirements:
Completion of two year community college computer technical training program plus a minimum of two years related working
experience with LAN/WAN environments (including experience with routers & switches) and network operating systems or
combination of experience, education and training that is considered equivalent.
Industry standard certifications in Microsoft Technologies with primary focus on Microsoft File Services and Active Directory
Services 2008 R2 and 2012.
Working technical knowledge of current operating systems and technologies in Windows, Apple and SLES OE environments.
Understanding of network concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SSL and TCP/IP protocols and applications.
Some experience with migrations of Active Directory and with Microsoft System Centre services
Proven professional, interpersonal and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
