This fresh move to

is one of the most
prevalent accomplish-
ments of my adolescent
life. Finally my dreams
have been turned into a
reality. Some of us are
meant to do things in this
weird place we call earth.
Maybe you were blessed
with long legs so you
became a track star.
Whatever the case is,
every person out of the
35 million people that
live in Canada is made
for something. My
something is journal-
ism. When I first
entered Huron County
the picturesque view
and the smell of coun-
tryside filled my senses.
As my car -followed
Lake Huron's large body
of water, I honestly felt
truly domicile. Being a
city -slicker the land-
scapes were somewhat
unfamiliar, I'm fre-
quently around tall sky-
scrapers, loud noises,
cars and pollution. Now
I'm thrown into a small

Receiving the call from
Stratford that the job is
mine is still barely audi-
ble to me. It was only a
month ago that I was
scrolling up and down
media websites, seeking
employment. I'll never
forget telling Sun
Media, "Yeah I'll take
the job" and Dave Fla-
herty saying, "This is a
small town you'll have to
dig." Well Seaforth resi-
dents, I brought my
shovel. If you have any
questions, I'm just a hop
and a skip away. Some
days I'm riding my bicy-
cle through town trying
to get used to my sur-
roundings, but the
majority of the time, I'm
cramming away at this
keyboard all in hopes of
giving you the story you
want to read. Well, I have
a demanding day on the
schedule that I must get
back to. Signing off from
