I notice both weather conditions are helping the grass to grow. Cavan United Church held their annual service at the ballpark on Sunday. The weather cooperated nicely. Graeme Craig provided two familiar hymns - "In The Garden and Morning Has Broken." The children's story was named "Cracker Jack." A skit acted out by Ann Bosman and Sherry McCall as players in a ball game - who's on first, what's on second. I don't know on third was explained by Minister Mary Fletcher. Each one is unique in the game of life, heading for home base. A tasty brunch followed the service. Bob Campbell is at pre- sent a patient in London's Victoria Hospital. He underwent surgery on his foot on Thursday Food for Thought Why is a hen sitting on a fence like a cent? Because she has a head on one side and tail on the other.
