Obituaries In Memoriam Thanks Births Celebrations More Cards of Thanks Cards of Thanks BENNETT The family of Ron Bennett would like to ex- press our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends and neighbours for the overwhelm- ing support we have received since Ron's passing. Thank -you so much for the cards, phone calls, food, flowers, hugs and visits. We cannot express enough how much we appreciate the staff at Seaforth Community Hospital for the care and compassion they showed, both to Ron and to the family dur- ing his stay. You made a tough time for us easier. A sincere thank -you to John and Sandy McGlynn and Ruth Townsend for your guidance and advice. Obituaries Obituaries JOHN BOVEN Matthew 11:28 "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest': John, age 79, went to be with his Lord, peacefully at Seaforth Manor on Monday, December 29, 2014. He was born on May 11, 1935 son of the late Karel and Henderika (Kassies) Boven, in Den Ham the Netherlands. He came to Canada with his family in 1956. He is predeceased by his wife Femmy Boven (Otten) (February 2013), his sister Betsy (Piet) of Holland, brother Gerritt (Nel) of Blyth, brother Albert (Helen) of Londesboro, brother-in-law Kurt Stryker (Corrie) of Owen Sound, brother-in- law Bernie Kolkman (Kinie) of Saltford. Survived by sister Riet (Roger) of Chicago, brother Henk (Anneke) of Holland, sister Kinie Kolkman (Bernie) of Salford, sister Ineke Knetsch,(Chris) of St Catherine's, sister Corrie Stryker (Kurt) of Owen Sound, brother Fred (Greta) of Kingston, sister Ali of Holland, brother Carl (Shirley) of Kingston, brother-in-law Piet Boonstra (Besty) of Holland, sister-in-law Nel (Gerritt) of Blyth and sister-in-law Helen Hummel (Albert) of Londesboro. Dear stepfather to Ralph Otten (Elva) of Seaforth, Jan Van Stralen of Stratford, John Otten (Keena) of Stratford and Harry Otten (Anita) of Clinton. He will be remembered by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the W.G. Young Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the spring and will be announced through the W.G. Young Funeral Home and the Clinton Christian Reformed Church where John is a member. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital or the Seaforth Manor Retirement Home Residents Council and may be made through the W.G.
