The donations, flowers, cards, on-line condolences, food and hugs are gratefully acknowledged. We will be forever grateful to Pastor Steve Hildebrand, mom's church family, the ambulance attendants and the staff at Seaforth Community Hospital who assisted mom and our family that day. Thank you also to Pastor Steve for the touching and memorable service. To John, Sandy and staff of McGlynn Family Funeral Home for their professional guidance and attention to the families' wishes. Six of Dorothy's grandsons, Kevin Meidinger, David Butt, Keegan Teichert, Greg McGrath, Josh Butt and Craig Ingram served as pallbearers and all of Dorothy's granddaughters, Angie Butt, Andrea McGrath Wheatley, Laura McGrath, Heather Rankine, Kristi Butt and Amber Rankine as flower bearers. Obituaries Obituaries WEIN-MAJURY, Dorcas - peacefully at LHSC University Hospital on Monday February 9, 2015. Dorcas Wein-Majury of Southampton and formerly of Exeter in her 81st year. Cherished wife of Glen Majury, Southampton and the late Calvin Wein (1989). Dear mother of Heather (Pat) Joynt of Southampton, Marlyn Wein (Randy Witherspoon) of Clifford and Brenna (Barry) Vincent of Seaforth. Grandmother to Kelsey, Tom, Tayler, Andrew, Phillip, Adam and Alex. Stepmother to Kari -Lynn and Ken Perdue, Hanover and Jo -Ann and Phil Smith of Naughton and their children Taylor, Devin, Laiken, Matthew and Cory. Survived by sister Alma Davey, Exeter, sisters-in-law Yvonne Tottenham, Owen Sound and Verna Pfaff, Exeter. Predeceased by her parents Laura and Edward Sillery and sister Patricia Hendrick, brother Douglas Sillery, brothers-in-law Emil Hendrick, Don Davey, Jerry Wein, Cameron Wein and Ronald Wein. Special thanks to the University Hospital ICU for their special care and compassion. Dorcas was a proud employee of Northlander Industries for 30 years and a life member of Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed cooking, golfing, yard sailing and dancing. A visitation will be held at the Southampton United Church on Sunday February 15, from 1-3 p.m. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Dorcas Wein-Majury will begin at 3pm. Obituaries Obituaries IVAN WOLFE Passed away suddenly at Seaforth Community Hospital on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Ivan Earl Wolfe of Seaforth was in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Staples) Wolfe for 34 years. Loving father of Lynn McNichol (Don Brown) of Seaforth, Dan McNichol of Walton, Michael Kittmer (Nicole) of Kelowna, Kelly Kittmer (Sherri) of Waterloo, Kelly Wolfe of Waterloo, Robert Wolfe (Liz) of Keswick, Rebecca Wolfe of Kitchener, Richard Wolfe of Mexico and Gina Wolfe of Kitchener. Cherished Papa of Madison, Monica, Abigail, McKenna, Ryland, Destin, Colton, Dakota, Steven, Jessica, Kayden; and Great -Papa of Avery and Arianna. Visitation was held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, February 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Ivan's life was held in the funeral home on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marvin Bublitz officiating. The Pallbearers were Mike Kittmer, John Van Der Aa, Jerry Staples, Dan McNichol, John Schuitema, Chad Hemming; and the Flower Bearers were Lynn McNichol and Kelly Kittmer. A reception immediately followed at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156 and spring interment will take place in St. James Catholic Cemetery.
