BEUERMAN, Melinda - "What we once
enjoyed and deeply loved we can never
lose, for all that we loved deeply, becomes
a part of us." Passed away suddenly on
Thursday, January 29, 2015. Melinda
Katherine Louise (nee Hillebrecht)
Beuerman of Seaforth was in her 91st year.
Loving mother of Larry Beuerman and his
wife Dee of London; and mother-in-law of
Barry Lane of Palm Desert, CA, and Robert
Ahrens (Rosemarie) of Burlington.
Cherished Nana of Jamie Beuerman
(Sandy), Holly Beuerman, Kirk Lane, Todd
Lane; and GG of Seth, Hannah and Simon
Beuerman, Sawyer, Sam and Abby
Hogeterp. Also survived by her brother-in-
law Frank Beuerman and sister-in-law Edna
Beuerman, both of Waterloo; as well as
many nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by her husband Alfred Beuerman; beloved
daughters Susan Lane and Dianne Ahrens;
parents Louis and Louise (nee Gordner)
Hillebrecht; dear sister Norma Hoegy
(Wilbur); brother Edgar Hillebrecht; and
siblings -in-law Harvey Beuerman (Viola),
Eva Pryce (Alvin) and Stanley Beuerman.
Special heartfelt 'thank you' to friends
Bonnie and Rick Fortune who were never
far away when needed with their generous
gift of time, friendship and compassion, as
well as, Ted and Marie Sallows and Rob
Powell for their help and friendship. A
funeral service to honour Melinda's life was
held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in
Brodhagen on Monday, February 2, 2015 at
1 p.m. with Pastor Laura Sauder officiating.
A reception of celebration immediately
followed in the church hall and spring
interment will take place in St. Peter's
Lutheran Cemetery, Brodhagen. Memorial
donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or
the Canadian Cancer Society are

peacefully at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home
on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. George
Broome Jr. of Seaforth was in his 85th year.
Beloved husband of Pat (nee Brining)
Broome for 54 years. Loving dad of Dan
Broome (Anne) of London, Kathleen
Blackbird (Casey) of Scarborough, Herb
Broome (Donna) of Stayner and father-in-
law of Helen Talisman of Michigan.
Cherished Grandpa of Chris Broome (Lise),
Phillip Broome (Rosemarie), David
Talisman (Angela), Dalton Talisman, Danny
Talisman, Elizabeth Broome, Jessica
Broome; and Great -Grandpa of Emily and
Christopher Broome and Emily Wright.
Dear brother of Doris Glenn (Wilfred) of
Goderich, Lois Loney of Kentucky, William
Broome of Waterloo, Molly Wagner of
Stratford, Tom Broome of Goderich and
Brian Broome (Yvonne) of Kitchener.
George will also be missed by many nieces,
nephews and friends. Predeceased by his
son David Talisman; parents Albert and
Violet (nee Dick) Broome; brothers Ron
Broome (Bessie), Robert Broome; and
siblings -in-law Cecil Loney, Lee Broome,
Murray Noble, Art Wagner and Loretta
Storzeski (Leonard). Visitation was held at
MCGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME,
Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday,
January 29, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the
time of George's funeral service at 12 noon.
Pastor Stephen Hildebrand officiated. A
reception immediately followed in the
Northside United Church Hall and spring
interment will take place at Maitland Bank
Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy,
memorial donations to the Alzheimer
Society of Huron County or the Seaforth
Community Hospital would be appreciated

at Seaforth Community Hospital on
Saturday, January 24, 2015. Dorothy Jean
Butt (nee Cuthill) of Egmondville was in her
78th year. Loving mom of Sheila Teichert,
Glenda Meidinger, Wayne Butt, Dianne
McGrath (Larry), Barb Rankine (Wayne),
Sandra Ingram (Scott) and Kevin Butt
(Kelly). Cherished Grandma of Keegan
(Laura), Kyle (Kristen), Kevin (Cathy), Kris
(Tracy), Angela, David (Jennifer), Andrea
(Jason), Laura (James), Greg (Erin),
Heather (Alex), Amber, Craig, Brent, Kristi,
Josh, Sam; and Great -Grandma of Nathan,
Brooke, Leah, Isabella and Liam. Dear
sister of Ross Cuthill, Ted Lane (Linda),
Cindy Holland (Harvey); and sister-in-law of
Merle Cuthill, Marilyn Lodge, Frances Butt,
Karen Geddes, Linda Charrette and Brenda
Dale. Dorothy will also be missed by many
nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased
by her husband Stewart Butt; son Steven
Butt; sons-in-law Karl Teichert, Gerard
Meidinger; parents Glenn and Jessie
Cuthill; siblings Lloyd, Ken, Marjorie,
Shirley; and long-time friend Ross McClure.

on Tuesday, January 27th from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. A funeral service to celebrate
Dorothy's life was held at Egmondville
United Church Wednesday, January
28, 2015 at 11 a.m. Pastor Stephen
Hildebrand officiating. A reception
immediately followed in the church hall and
spring interment will take place at Maitland
Bank Cemetery. As expressions of
