Huron County 4-H Go For
The Gold Competition 2015
On July 15, the Huron County
4-H Leaders' Association hosted
the local Go For The Gold Compe-
tition at the Clinton United Church.
Only three teams participated.
They were Sheep 1 and Sheep 2,
both from the South Huron Sheep
Club and the Wawanosh Life Skill
Club. Each team played two games
with the two top scoring teams
playing for the title,
Both teams Sheep 1 and
Wawanosh will move on to the
regional competition on Aug 19 at the
Knox Presbyterian Church in Lis-
towel. Teams from Huron, Perth, Grey
and Bruce County will compete. The
winner of the regional competition
will compete at the provincial level in
November at the Royal Winter Fair.
"I think that 4-H has been suc-
cessful with events like these
because the youth have fun, build
friendships and develop skills
and are also constantly learning,
even when they don't realize it,"
